Early Reach is an outreach initiative intended to promote successful outcomes for youth with disabilities by increasing awareness of OVR services and the benefits of early career planning. The Early Reach Coordinator will reach out to youth with disabilities, their parents, local schools and community agencies that serve youth.
LVCIL provides a variety of transition and employment services for youth and young adults with disabilities.
Via works with students, in partnership with their school districts and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, to create a personalized employment plan and explore careers of interest, preparing them for the next step after high school – community, integrated employment.
The family perspective materials are designed to help families articulate their vision of what they want/don’t want for their family members, identify and access key supports, and have conversations with their family members and supporters about planning for a good life now and in the future.
